Laxvik is a kitesurfing spot located in southern Halland County, on the west coast of Sweden. The spot is in Laholm Bay, an area known for its long sandy beaches and favorable wind conditions. Laholm Bay offers some protection compared to the open sea, allowing sailing in slightly calmer conditions. The dominant southwest and west winds create ideal side-shore to onshore conditions for kitesurfing. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediates thanks to its shallow waters and relatively flat water in the bay. It is a good choice for progression sessions.
