Overview

Vadu is one of Romania's most renowned kitesurfing spots, located on the Black Sea coast near the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve. The wild, unspoiled beach offers an exceptional natural setting with fine sand and shallow waters. The spot benefits from regular thermal winds from the northeast and east during summer. The shallow water extending far from shore makes it ideal for beginners and intermediates. It is a very popular spot among the Romanian kite community.
