On the water
Inland water body offering flat water conditions with light chop in sustained winds. The lake is moderately sized, limiting wave formation. Water warms up well in summer, allowing riding in shorty or lycra from June to September. Sandy bottom. Ideal conditions for freeride and flat water progression.
Hazards
Boat traffic in summer with motorboats and jet skis — constant vigilance required. Frequent swimmers and kayakers. Residential area with docks and lakeside structures. Violent summer thunderstorms possible with lightning risk — exit water immediately. Riding area limited by lake size. Canada geese on shores (hence the spot name).
