Overview

Mtwapa Creek is a sheltered kitesurfing spot located in the Mtwapa estuary, north of Mombasa. This creek offers exceptional flat water conditions, protected from Indian Ocean waves. Ideal for beginners, the spot benefits from the southeast trade winds during the Kusi season (June to October). The water is shallow and calm, perfect for learning. The tide strongly influences the water level and the spot's usability.
