The Sorpesee is an elongated reservoir lake offering a body of water for kitesurfing in a mountainous setting. West and southwest winds are channeled through the valley, creating a venturi effect. The elongated lake can generate chop in strong winds. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders due to the shape of the lake and sometimes irregular winds.
