Parc à Huîtres / La Corrège — Grand Étang de Leucate — between Leucate Village and Port Leucate, near the oyster farm bridge. Family-friendly windsurf spot on the grand étang — kite prohibited.
Nicolas Akgazciyan (F400), indoor PWA freestyle world champion, has his home spot here. Diverse conditions: slalom, speed, jump, freestyle — all on one spot. Shallow water, feet everywhere on 250 m. Hosts the Défi Wind each year!
Ideal for children, beginners and intermediates. Also a fall-back spot when Tramontane too strong elsewhere.

Grand étang water. Very shallow — feet everywhere on 250 m. Light chop by Tramontane — doesn't slow you down for speed. Flat by SE. Diverse: slalom, speed, freestyle, jump all possible. Safe for learning.

Access: CD 627 between Leucate Village and Port Leucate, near the oyster farm bridge. Follow "Spot de la Corrège" signs. Parking available. Restaurants nearby in Port Leucate.
Wind specificities
Tramontane (NW): works well, light chop ideal for speed and slalom. Marin/SE/E: also good, flatter conditions. Fall-back spot when Tramontane too strong on exposed spots. Kite strictly prohibited — windsurf, wingfoil, windfoil, SUP only. Hosts the Défi Wind competition annually.
