Camas Prairie is a snowkite spot at 1,664m elevation on a vast high-altitude prairie in central Idaho, between the Sawtooth and Smoky Mountains. This snow-covered plain offers huge flat expanses ideal for snowkiting, with consistent southwest winds channeled by mountain valleys. Reliable snow cover from December to March. Access from Fairfield or Highway 20. Limited services in the area.
