This vast glacial plateau offers ideal conditions for landkiting with flat, open expanses as far as the eye can see. Winds are strong and variable in direction, typical of Icelandic high plateaus. Extreme conditions reserved for experts: intense cold, possible whiteout, potential crevasses, total isolation. Access only by modified all-terrain vehicle. Season from March to May for the best snow and light conditions.]]>
