Overview

Beautiful sandy beach. Kite school. Side wind. You can touch the bottom for about 50m. Just need to avoid the swimming area.

Wind specificities

Wind more consistent and stronger than at Issos. Thermal wind in summer 10-12 knots. Weather wind announced by weather programs. Over 10 days, always thermal wind from around 2pm to 6pm and 2 days of stronger weather wind, up to 20 knots in gusts. At Issos beach, the wind passes over the dune so it can be very gusty depending on whether it's oriented very north. For a beginner, it's probably better to go to Chalikounas beach. Thermal wind in summer 10-12 knots.
