Geiseltalsee is a lake located in Saxony-Anhalt, one of the largest artificial lakes in Germany. This body of water, created from a former lignite mine, offers a vast area for kitesurfing. Westerly and southwesterly winds prevail. The lake's large surface allows good wind development. The flat water is suitable for beginners and intermediates. Geiseltalsee is a major kitesurfing spot in central Germany.
