Overview

A completely magical wild place a few years ago, but despite the restrictions today, it remains a spot worth knowing...

After a dirt road reserved for adventurers, where a car that's too low might return with a worn-out undercarriage, you arrive at a barrier that prevents cars that are too wide or campervans from passing.
Then, it's a huge beach, an immense beach that allows you to launch your kite in complete safety. Wild open spaces, with few dangers in the water if you don't venture too far from the parking lot...

Shallow water, small waves at the shore, I love this place!!

In summer, it gets crowded, it's a bit like China...

Hazards

CAUTION, the biggest danger is the remoteness! Limited phone network depending on your carrier, emergency services take time to arrive, so enjoy yourself without going overboard... ?

Otherwise, no particular danger, but if you venture far, watch out for some poles sticking out of the water.


I once got stung by a weever fish, be careful, it's extremely painful, the foot swells, and if you're allergic, the venom is quite strong. The spine can pierce through a soft bootie. Heat neutralizes the venom. In case of a sting, use hot sand or soak in a basin of hot water, it will help if done quickly.
