This bay offers varied sailing conditions with exposure to south and west winds in a preserved natural setting. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west in summer. The bay offers some protection but waves can be present during strong southerly swells. The bottom is sandy. The water is cold year-round. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders. Marion Bay is a small coastal village with some accommodation. The Tasman Peninsula offers spectacular coastal scenery to explore.]]>
