<![CDATA[Hawley Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the north coast of Tasmania, near Port Sorell. This beach offers moderate sailing conditions in a partially sheltered bay in Bass Strait. The prevailing wind comes from the west to northwest in summer. The bay offers some protection from direct swell. The water is shallow with a sandy bottom. Conditions are relatively accessible for this region. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediates. The water is cold, a thick wetsuit is required. Hawley Beach is a small village with a campground and basic amenities.]]>
