<![CDATA[Point Danger is a kitesurfing spot located near Torquay in Victoria, on the Surf Coast. This headland marks the beginning of the Great Ocean Road and offers sailing conditions with a spectacular view of the coastline. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west in summer. The headland creates wind funneling effects. Waves are moderate to strong. The bottom is a mix of sand and reef near the point. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for intermediate to advanced riders. The water is cold, a thick wetsuit is required. Watch out for rocks near the headland. Torquay has all amenities.]]>
