This world-famous spot is one of Australia's finest surf breaks, regularly hosting World Surf League competitions. The waves are powerful and world-class. Prevailing south to southwest winds blow side-shore on this exposed coast. The waves are among the most powerful and consistent in Australia, fed by massive swells from the Indian Ocean and Southern Ocean. The spot is strictly reserved for expert riders with significant wave experience. Access is from the town of Margaret River. Parking is available. Warning: this spot is extremely dangerous with reefs, powerful currents, and waves that can reach several meters. Respect surfers and wave priority rules.]]>
