Cayo El Muerto is a kitesurf spot located in the Los Roques archipelago, Venezuela. This islet is part of one of the most beautiful playgrounds for kitesurfing in the world, with crystal-clear turquoise and shallow waters. The northeast trade winds blow exceptionally from December to May, with 20 to 30 knots nearly daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. The water is flat and shallow, perfect for freestyle and freeride. Access is by boat from the village of Gran Roque. It is recommended to bring your own equipment. The spot is suitable for riders of all levels thanks to the shallow waters and consistent wind.
