Overview

El Golfo de Santa Clara is an isolated spot in the northern Gulf of California in Sonora, near the Alto Golfo biosphere reserve. Northwest winds blow powerfully on an open body of water. The extreme tides in this area (among the strongest in the world) radically transform the landscape, requiring good session planning.
