Wind specificities

A spot guide states "best wind south-west, rideable from south to north-west". The best wind yield is in May-June and September-October. In an east (offshore) wind the water is very shallow, with a 30 to 70 m standing area along the shore, which the guide presents as ideal for beginners. North-west raises waves up to 2 m; south-west gives the best wave but also the most seagrass.

Hazards

The stone wall on the left creates a current that pulls you toward it: keep 20-30 m away. Fishing nets are set about 200-300 m offshore in summer; one source places them north-west of the spot, mainly in a south-westerly. Shorebreak is stronger in a south-westerly. Seagrass is common: a seagrass fin is recommended. Keep your distance from the "Zicker" reserve to the north.
