Overview
Baja Joe's is a kite centre with accommodation on La Ventana beach (Baja California Sur, Mexico), with a school, rental, beachfront storage, an assist jet-ski and radios; partner of Elevation Kiteboarding, with IKO certificates for all levels. At La Ventana, the wind comes mainly from the north and north-west (thermal and "El Norte", 15 to 30 knots from November to March), boosted by the venturi effect of Cerralvo island; it is side-onshore. A review calls it safe for beginners, but the chop in strong wind is hard for beginners and low intermediates.
