Lake George windsurf spot
Australia · South Australia
Overview
- Windsurf
- No kitesurfing
Lake George, near Beachport (South Australia), is a lake used for speed sailing and windsurfing. According to a 2017 report, the good wind comes from the south-east; a 2008 forecast mentioned south-easterly or north-easterly in the morning, then a south or south-westerly sea breeze in the afternoon. A high lake level makes launching difficult.
