Kitesurf

Le Morne Public Beach is the public beach of Le Morne (Mauritius), with a flat lagoon of about 800 m to the reef. The south-east trade wind blows cross-onshore to almost onshore, strongest from May to November. Beginner and intermediate zones are in the shallow lagoon in front of the RIU hotels; expert zones are further out. An ION club exists at Le Morne. (General Le Morne information.)
