Overview

Heidenfahrt Beach is a stretch of the Rhine bank (Heidesheim / Ingelheim) with two small sand beaches, on an arm sheltered from commercial navigation by the Mariannenaue; it is very popular with kiters, windsurfers and wingers. A west wind often blows there; the calm arm of the Königsklinger Aue is rated suited to beginners.
