Hardtsee is a 45 ha gravel-pit lake at Ubstadt-Weiher (Baden-Württemberg), with a swimming zone and a water-sports zone; it is the spot of the Surf-Club Ubstadt-Weiher. According to the club, all winds are surfable, south and east being the best because they blow freely from the Kraichgau; the entry is shallow, for levels from beginner to advanced. Two sources say kitesurfing is not possible there (ban, no launch zones); another site lists "Surfen/Kiten".
