Le Rouet — Plage de La Palme — Wild beach between Port-la-Nouvelle and La Franqui. Sea spot for kite and windsurf. Beautiful desert environment.
By Tramontane NW: offshore — flat water, freestyle and speed. Less gusty than La Franqui, less crowded. Can drive onto the beach (practical!). By Marin SE: onshore waves. In summer: thermiques possible, navigation regulated (buoys).
Landkite and sand yachting also practiced on this vast beach. One of the most beautiful spots of the region for its wild landscape.

Parking
Access: from La Palme village direction Port-la-Nouvelle, 2 km after the village turn right at signs "Ville de La Palme – Plage du Rouet". Can drive onto the beach — practical for gear. Free parking.

Tramontane (NW): offshore flat. Less gusty than La Franqui — bit more regular. Marin (SE): onshore waves. Summer thermiques possible. Beach regulated in summer (buoys). Practical: car access on beach.
Hazards
Tramontane OFFSHORE: pushes to sea — experienced riders only. No safety boat on site. Marin/SE: onshore, safer. Summer: beach supervised — respect bathing zones and buoys. Access: can drive on the beach.
