Ponta do Ouro is a kite spot in southern Mozambique, in the Ponta do Ouro partial marine reserve (2009). A guide gives north-east wind as the main one (cross-onshore, good backside); downwinders in south-east wind are possible. Sheltered bay. The official ANAC page lists kitesurfing among the activities offered, with no ban noted. Sources differ on wind direction.
