Overview

Hönö Lappösund is a kitesurfing spot located on the island of Hönö, in the Gothenburg archipelago on the west coast of Sweden. The Lappösund strait offers a partially sheltered body of water with exposure to southwesterly to northwesterly winds. Conditions are moderate thanks to the shelter of the islands. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders. The island of Hönö is accessible by ferry from Gothenburg and offers a natural setting typical of the archipelago.
