Höllviken is one of the most popular kitesurfing spots in southern Sweden, located on the Falsterbo peninsula in southwestern Skåne. This iconic spot sits between the Öresund and the Baltic, offering exceptional sailing conditions. The Höllviken spot benefits from multi-directional exposure thanks to its position on the peninsula. In southwesterly and westerly winds, the Öresund side offers ideal conditions. In southeasterly winds, the east coast of the peninsula works. The beach is wide and sandy, providing generous space for rigging and launching kites. Höllviken is a true kitesurfing hub in Sweden. The rider community is very active, with kite schools, clubs, and regular events. The spot attracts kitesurfers from all over southern Scandinavia, including Danes who cross the Öresund Bridge. Infrastructure is excellent with parking, shops, and restaurants. The spot suits all levels thanks to its shallow waters and large beach. Beginners appreciate the sheltered areas while advanced riders enjoy wave conditions in strong winds. The season runs from April to November with the best conditions in spring and autumn.
