Kitesurf spot at Lac des Rousses in the Haut-Jura mountains (39), at 1057 m altitude. Access from Geneva via the Col de la Faucille pass, then Les Rousses village. The lake covers approximately 90 hectares in a rolling plateau landscape. Several ride zones possible around the lake. In winter, when the lake freezes over, the rideable area expands significantly for spectacular sessions.

No dedicated parking around the spot. Park along the road beside the farms — ask the owners' permission out of courtesy.
The "bise" (North-East wind) is the best wind for this spot: steady and strong when established. South-West also works but is less consistent. Wind is rare in summer — the transition seasons and winter offer the best sessions.
Watch out for the road and high-voltage power lines. On the frozen lake: strictly respect safety signs — never go out when the red flag is up or ice is insufficient.
