Overview
Krishnakiri Lake is an inland freshwater lake in Tamil Nadu, India, located at an elevation of about 480 meters near the town of Krishnagiri. This lake spot offers flat water kitesurfing in a non-coastal setting. The area can receive winds channeled through the surrounding hills.
As an inland lake, there are no tides or ocean hazards. The flat water conditions are ideal for freestyle, freeride, and learning. Wind can be less consistent than coastal spots and may be affected by local terrain. Limited kite infrastructure - suited for self-sufficient riders. The cooler elevation provides a pleasant alternative to the hot coastal plains.
