Mayo Beach is a kitesurfing spot on the west shore of the Chesapeake Bay, in the Mayo community near Annapolis. This spot offers bay access from the peninsula between the South River and the bay. Close to Annapolis, Maryland's capital and a quintessential sailing town, Mayo Beach benefits from an established water sports community. The spot offers good fetch into the bay and flat water to moderate chop conditions. Easy access from the D.C. and Baltimore areas.
