Overview

Tree Tops is a spot located in the Canyon Lake area, in the Texas Hill Country between Austin and San Antonio. This access point offers a launch area with views of the wooded hills characteristic of the Hill Country. Canyon Lake's turquoise waters and preserved natural setting make it a pleasant place for a freshwater kitesurfing session. The slightly elevated position of the spot offers a panoramic view of the lake.

Limestone cliffs and rocks on shore and underwater. Dense boat traffic on summer weekends. Turbulence and gusts from the hilly Hill Country terrain. Thunderstorms possible in spring and summer. Potentially steep access.
