Sandviken is a kitesurfing spot located on the west coast of the Åland archipelago, in the Baltic Sea. This beach spot offers good exposure to the prevailing west and south-west winds with an open body of water towards the sea. Sandy bottom, conditions suitable for intermediate riders. Good launch area on the beach. Wetsuit required. The spot benefits from a west-facing exposure that catches Atlantic depressions crossing Scandinavia well.
