Overview

Vicente Lopez is a kitesurfing spot located on the banks of the Río de la Plata, in the northern suburbs of Buenos Aires. This urban spot is easily accessible from the city center and offers a pleasant setting for kitesurfing. The prevailing south-east winds (Sudestada) and north winds provide regular sailing conditions on this estuarine body of water. The water is shallow with a muddy bottom, and the body of water generally remains flat. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders and is a convenient option for kitesurfers living in the northern Buenos Aires area.
