Deerfield Beach is a kitesurfing spot located at the border between Broward and Palm Beach counties, facing the Atlantic. This family-friendly beach with its famous pier and colorful umbrellas offers kite access in a pleasant setting. The easterly trade winds blow onshore, providing chop and small wave conditions. Deerfield Beach is one of the few beaches in the area certified "Blue Wave" for its cleanliness. The spot is popular with local riders looking for an alternative to Fort Lauderdale.
