Overview

Lago Termas de Río Hondo is a kitesurfing spot located on the artificial lake of the Río Hondo dam, in the province of Santiago del Estero, northern Argentina. This vast reservoir offers an extensive water area for kitesurfing in a warm climate. Prevailing winds blow from the north and southeast, with regular thermal winds during the day. The water is flat and shallow, ideal for beginners and intermediates. The subtropical climate ensures pleasant temperatures year-round. The town of Termas de Río Hondo offers accommodation and hot springs.
