Overview

Town Beach is a kitesurfing spot located in Exmouth, Western Australia. Exmouth is the gateway to the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park, one of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. The spot offers tropical conditions with warm and crystal-clear waters all year round. The winds follow a seasonal pattern: the southeast trade winds blow during the dry season (April to October), offering the best conditions. During the wet season, winds are more variable with cyclone risks. The best period for kiting is from May to September. Exmouth has accommodation and tourist services. Parking is at the beachfront. Watch out for sharks, rays and coral. Respect the Ningaloo Marine Park protection zones. Tides can be significant.
