Overview

Rivedoux Nord is the first kitesurf spot encountered when crossing the Ile de Ré bridge, just to the right of the bridge landing. The spot is navigable throughout the tidal cycle in west, northwest, north, northeast and east winds. A well-organised spot marked by municipal panels and posts delimiting the zone on the dune. Watch for oyster beds to the left of the water area marked by stakes, and bridge currents to the right. FFVL-labelled spot.

At the Ile de Ré bridge exit, park in the first car park on the right. The beach is 50m away. The spot is marked by municipal signage on the access path and posts on the dune. Navigable at all tides in west, northwest, north, northeast and east winds. Avoid the oyster beds (left, marked by stakes) and bridge current zone (right).
