Perros-Guirec is a major resort town on the Côte de Granit Rose, offering two main kitesurf spots. Trestraou (main beach, 700m) is the most accessible, exposed to N/NW swell and NNE-E wind. The Baie de Perros (west of the port) is a shallow bay ideal for beginners with NNE-E wind, no rocks in the riding zone and standing depth over a wide area. The spectacular pink granite coastline (Ploumanac'h, Sept Îles) makes this one of Brittany's most scenic riding areas.
The spot works year-round: 25 rideable days a month on average, at 15 °C. It peaks in March, with 293 hours of usable wind.

Kite's Cool (kitescool.fr / Saint-Michel-en-Grève) — kite and wingfoil school also active at Perros-Guirec (Trestraou). Local surf club at Trestraou.
Open all year round
Intermediate
Trestraou: NNE-E is the ideal wind — side to side-onshore, allows parallel runs along the beach. Best at low tide: wind less disrupted, wider beach. At high tide: can be difficult to launch. Baie de Perros (shallow bay): works NNE-E, very protected, ideal for beginners. Best offshore wind: SSE (good for clean waves at Trestraou in autumn/winter swell).
Rocks on both flanks of the bay — stay in the sandy central axis. Rocks immersed at high tide — reconnoitre at low tide. Surf crowd at Trestraou (surfers and kitesurfers coexist — space management required). Kite: best at low tide for unobstructed wind and wider beach. Best launch area: in front of the surf club.
