Juan Surfo's Surf Shop

Juan Surfo's is a locally owned Costa Rican surf shop open since 2005 on the north side of Playa Guiones in Nosara. It presents itself as the original shop of this stretch of the beach.

It sells rash guards, boardshorts, sunscreen, wax, hats, sunglasses, flip-flops, traction pads, leashes, fins and souvenirs, and offers ding repair. The shop rents a wide choice of boards: longboards, shortboards, foam soft tops, fibreglass and epoxy boards, paddleboards and bodyboards.

Surf lessons are given in English and Spanish, for beginners and intermediates, private or in groups, by the day or the week. Rental accommodation, 300 m from the beach and next to the shop, is also available.
