About
Sebastian Inlet Surf & Sport is a surf shop opened in 2012 on Highway A1A in Melbourne Beach, about two miles north of the Sebastian Inlet bridge, Florida's best-known surf destination. Set across the street from the ocean, the shop features local shapers (Ricky Carroll, Sam Barker, Neil Hamilton), artists and Florida brands.
It sells new and used boards (shortboards, longboards, body boards, skim boards, SUPs), apparel and accessories. It rents surfboards (soft-top, poly, epoxy, longboards), body boards, skim boards and stand-up paddle gear, with delivery available.
The team teaches private and group surf lessons, runs surf camps for ages 6 to 17 (ten summer weeks, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 1 pm) and women-only surf weekends, and has a training area behind the shop. It also offers guided bike rides and triathlon training.
