Covewater Paddle Surf

Covewater Paddle Surf is a stand up paddle, wing foil and foil shop in Santa Cruz, open since 2010. It is run by Olivier, known as "Ogee", who has over 20 years of racing experience, and store manager David Waynar, a longtime paddle racer and coach.

The shop sells boards, foils, wings, SUPs, Foil Drive electric-assist foil systems, clothing and accessories, with brands such as F-One, AFS and Starboard. It also offers lessons in SUP, SUP surfing, intro foiling behind a boat, wing foiling, pump foiling and Foil Drive.

Foil lessons start from Santa Cruz Harbor and take place south of the Wharf, with radio helmets so the coach can talk to the student in real time. Wing foil lessons last 2 hours and come in three levels, from first steps with the wing to downwind riding on wind swell. Gear is provided, except the wetsuit.
