About

Kite Club Corfu (KCC), also called Surf Center Corfu, is a kitesurf, wingfoil and windsurf station that has operated since 2009 on Chalikounas beach, on the south-west coast of Corfu, in a protected area near Lake Korission. The site is run by Andrea Templeton and Andreas Bürger.

The mile-long, wide and flat beach with a shallow gradient gets an almost daily north-westerly wind. The station rents kitesurf, wingfoil (Ozone wings), windsurf and stand up paddle equipment, and sells used kites and wings (Ozone), including outside the season. A rescue service is announced.

Please note: the website states that the station no longer offers courses. Rental is reserved for independent riders (VDWS level 5 or IKO 3K); a skills assessment is available on site. The site says the station is closed for the 2026 season and announces a reopening in May 2027.
