Hotmer L'Almanarre

Hotmer L'Almanarre is the Hotmer surf shop on route de l'Almanarre in Hyères, on the road to the beach and a few metres from the Almanarre spot. The store is the former Gliss Factory, now part of the Hotmer network.

Hotmer runs five surf shops, from Calais to Hyères (Lille, L'Almanarre, Côte d'Opale, Rennes and Dinard), plus an online store delivering in France with a 365-day return period. The Hyères shop presents itself as closely tied to actual practice: its advice on wind direction, water conditions and rider level draws on use of the neighbouring spot.

The shop sells wing foil, windsurf and kitesurf equipment, as well as freestyle scooters, paddle, surf and wetsuits, new and second-hand. Test equipment is available and the shop offers express repairs (kite wings, windsurf boards, wetsuits, paddle). Brands highlighted by the chain include Starboard, SIC, Cabrinha, NeilPryde, Takuma, AFS, RRD and Aeryn.

The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am to 12:30 pm and 3 pm to 7 pm, and closed on Sunday and Monday. Calling ahead to check that an item is in stock is recommended.
