Playa Grande Surf Camp

Playa Grande Surf Camp is a small surf hostel less than 200 metres from Playa Grande beach, inside Las Baulas Marine National Park in Guanacaste. It says it is the only place in town offering budget accommodation in a shared dorm.

Guests can choose between the dorm, private cabinas and treehouse-style rooms; the property has a pool, a shared kitchen and wifi. On the surf side, the camp runs lessons, tours and packages, and rents a wide range of boards by the day for all levels. Tamarindo is a 15-minute walk away, or a short boat ride across the estuary.
