Belize Adventure Lodge (Long Caye, Glover's Reef)

Belize Adventures is an all-inclusive eco-lodge on Long Caye in Glover's Reef Atoll, about sixty kilometers offshore from Hopkins. It runs off-grid on solar and wind power, with reef-side cabanas and an on-site dive center. It is open during the dry season, from late November to June.

The 3-, 4- and 7-night packages include kayaks, windsurfers, surf kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. For windsurfing, the lodge offers basic instruction and a fleet of wide beginner boards, in the calm lagoon or on the open sea. Surfing takes place on what the lodge calls the only accessible and safe surf break in the country; surf lessons are only occasionally available and surfers must first show their ability on a wave kayak.
