École de voile des Espaces Naturels de la MEL (Prés du Hem)

The sailing school of the Espaces Naturels of the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL) is based at the Prés du Hem watersports centre in Armentières, on a lake of about forty hectares. Each year it welcomes students of all ages and levels.

The school offers private lessons, multi-discipline courses and equipment rental: windsurfing, catamaran, wing foil, paddle and kayak. Pedal boats remain available to enjoy the lake on days when sailing is closed.

For 2026 the school is open every day from 1 March to 31 October. Hours vary by season, and it is closed on certain Sundays of the season, including 12 and 19 July. It is at 150 rue des Résistants in Armentières.

• July and August: every day 10 am to 7 pm
