Notiwing - École de wingfoil
Port du Tinduff, 29470 Plougastel-Daoulas · Bretagne · France
School Presentation
Notiwing is a wingfoil school on the Brest roadstead, leaving from the port of Tinduff in Plougastel-Daoulas. Its website carries a 2025 copyright and photos published in January 2026.
Wing foil lessons take place offshore: the instructor follows students from a suitable RIB and guides them by walkie-talkie. Adults can come alone or as a pair, for one or several sessions, whether beginners or windsurf, kitesurf or sailing practitioners. Juniors are accepted from age 10, with a maximum of two students per session; the child must be comfortable in the water and able to swim, and the nautical pass is compulsory (it can be taken with the club at no extra cost). Towed foiling is presented as a discovery option with no course required, and stand up paddle is on the menu. Evening sessions run from spring to September.
Instruction is led by Nikolaz Le Guern, who holds the French state sailing certificate, a BPJEPS in kitesurfing and the state certificate and DEJEPS in scuba diving, and is a national and international sailing and kitesurf referee, with more than 25 years in the trade in Brittany, Egypt and the Côte d'Azur. The Penn-al-Lann shore near the port is mentioned as a spot in easterly wind.
