Centre Nautique Couardais du Goisil (CNCG)

The Centre Nautique Couardais du Goisil (CNCG) is a sports association set in the Goisil salt marshes, north of La Couarde-sur-Mer on the Île de Ré. It has a secure learning basin and then the open sea for more experienced sailors, on a protected natural site.

The offer includes sailing courses (including a Moussaillon course), private lessons, introductory sails, free sailing, wing foil and foil lessons, and "Le Jardin des Mers", a discovery of the marshes, fishing and birds for children aged 4 to 6. The club also welcomes young people aged 7 to 18 who go on to compete (FFV competition). The team has 10 instructors, 2 secretaries and 20 assistant instructors, for about 1,100 courses each summer.

The CNCG is labelled École Française de Voile by the French Sailing Federation, one of four EFVs on the Île de Ré.
