Chatel Kite School

Chatel Kite School (CKS) is a kitesurfing and wingfoiling school created in 2010 by professional rider Antonin Rangin. Its website shows a 2026 copyright. Lessons take place at Châtelaillon-Plage, Ayté and La Rochelle depending on weather and tides, from March to October whatever the wind direction; kitesurf and wingfoil bookings are made through a customer area.

The offer includes three-hour initiation lessons in kitesurfing and two-hour ones in wingfoiling, improvement lessons, safety and autonomy lessons, supervised sessions, private and semi-private lessons and coaching, kite foil, towed foil, a kite simulator, a towed buoy, kitesurf and wingfoil equipment rental, gift vouchers and a year-round formula from April to November. A preferential rate is offered to groups of 8 or more.

Supervision is by radio, in shallow water (you can stand at all times for kite) on relatively calm water for wingfoil. Equipment is described as recent and renewed every year. The school's contact address is in Saint-Vivien (45 rue de la Grande Borde).
