Biarritz Surf Training

Biarritz Surf Training is a surf school that has been based for many years on the Côte des Basques beach, boulevard du Prince de Galles, with a welcome hut, changing rooms and showers on the beach. Its team is made up of local state-qualified instructors and lifeguards; the website shows the Qualité Tourisme logo and a DDJS registration.

Lessons are group or individual, 1.5 hours, for all levels with a maximum of eight people and equipment provided. The school also runs courses for children from age 5, teenagers and adults, a Club formula of ten lessons over a quarter (excluding July and August), and offers for groups and events (school trips, corporate, stag and hen parties). Lessons can be given in French, English and Spanish.

It rents boards and wetsuits without lessons, and with Biarritz Surf Lodge offers private accommodation (studio or apartment for 2 to 4 people, from age 18) with optional lessons, at 102 rue Pierre de Chevigné. The school is closed from December to March inclusive.
